About Zane B Stein Expertise I WILL BE HAPPY TO answer questions about astrology in general, the meanings of planets, signs, houses, aspects, asteroids, Chiron, etc. I use Western, Tropical Astrology. Please do not ask me questions about Vedic Astrology as I am not an expert on this.
I WILL NOT ANSWER PERSONAL QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR INDIVIDUAL CHART, such as "Will I get rich?" or "Will I get married?", or "Are we compatible?" I do have a private astrological practice, and if you need to ask those type of questions, contact me privately and we`ll discuss a possible astrologer/client relationship. Also, I cannot answer questions about Vedic Astrology, or Chinese Astrology.
Also, astrology is NOT "What is my lucky stone?" or "What is my lucky color?" or "What are my lucky numbers?" Any astrologer who gives you a lucky object, or number, based on your chart, is not a real astrologer, but someone who is giving in to superstition. In order to find out how to enhance your luck, you need to have an astrologer look at your whole chart, and tell you what areas you need to focus upon, how to accent your positives, and work to resolve any problems that exist.
Experience I've been involved with astrology since 1969, taught classes on several occasions, written a number of articles and one book, and lectured around the USA, in Canada, Great Britain, Scotland and Ireland.

Question coming up: uranus transit conjunct chiron and opposite pluto- something tells me I need some extra preparation other than to hold on and let 'er rip! Any pointers? Thanx in advance,

Answer Hi, Sherrill,
It's been my experience that when Uranus passes over Chiron, some really wonderful things happen....but they can be scary at first. A person is given an opportunity to do something they've never done before, but in order to do so, they have to deal with some old wounds/fears and face them. The result is a real expanding of a person's world, new doors opening for them, and when they look back on this time, they realize just how glad they were they faced and dealt with their personal anxieties. Of course, what occurs depends in great part on the house of Chiron. In 10th house, for example, they may have a career opportunity forcing them to deal with situations they have been afraid to deal with in the past, but when they do they discover they have talents in this area they were not aware of before.
Uranus opposition Pluto is a generational aspect in many respects, because everyone around your age will be experiencing it around the same time. Still, I've seen it express personally. It is a time when you decide to do something major, something perhaps even drastic, to change something about your life, and it is a no-turning-back type of change.
Perhaps quitting a job for an entirely different type. Perhaps picking up one's life and moving to a completely different local. Perhaps choosing to commit oneself to a particular path no matter what.
So I'd say, time to keep your eyes open, look for new opportunities, and be willing to try something you may have been afraid to try in the past. It's time for a change. Face old wounds that may have held you back.
