QUESTION: What is the result of jupiter and saturn in the eleventh house in sagitarius?

ANSWER: I have always found Jupiter Saturn contacts an interesting subject. Together they represent complete opposites that are forced to work with each other.  Jupiter is expansion, Saturn is contraction, Jupiter is optimistic, Saturn is pessimistic so they are uneasy companions in many ways. In the sign of Sagittarius its even more pronounced since Jupiter is very strong in this sign and Saturn is very uncomfortable in it.  In general what I find is one or the other of the planets is dominate for a while then the o ther tends to take over, one of the stronger results of this can be depression, in my observations a strong Saturn Jupiter contact especially the conjunction can indicate depression.  What I think happens is you have ups and downs in how you feel about things or life in general, Jupiter gets all excited often out of control about possibilities if they don;t work out Saturn takes over and sort says see I told you I knew it would not work, so its a struggle.  On a more positive note it can be a good combination for someone who has unique ideas, as Saturn gives the stability to bring things to completion.  When you bring all of this into the eleventh house it can be very large dreams, large ideas for the future, if they can be carried out will depend a lot of aspects from other planets that help or hinder this conjunction.  It does represent the ability to know the right people to help you when you need help.

I do not have the answer to this particular question on my web site right now, what I am doing is asking people to send in questions I will answer them on my blog.  My first grouping of questions will be June 1. If you would like to submit a question just go to my site and sign up to use the blog.   To know which planet is stronger you need to look at the entire chart it has to do with the combinations in the chart, which planet is in a sign its comfortable in which planet is in a house its comfortable in what types of aspects what is the personality as a whole like. Its a little different in every chart.  everyone with that aspect may have a similar way of using it, but the strength will depend on a lot of factors.  Hope that explains it a little.  Astrology is a very complicated subject, we would all love for it to be you have this aspect so this is how you act, but its not that easy.  The more charts you look at and the more you interact with people the more you develop a sense of how these things work, some of it is just doing a lot of charts and talking to a lot of people about how things work in their charts.
