Question
Dear Lelonni,
With my date, time and place of birth (06th October 1980, at around 04:40 to 04:45 am, in Daska, Punjab, Pakistan)I calculated my 25 degree Virgo as ascendant, where my natal Jupiter is in conjunction with my ascendant and also mars is sextiling both from 25 degree Scorpio.
But as I am not quite sure about my exact minute of birth, but I want to know that Jupiter is in my which house, he is aspecting it either from being in my first house or from my 12th house. Can you please explain me about how Jupiter behaves in Virgo and then in both the houses with conjuction with ascendant and sextile with Mars so that I could see the things in me and could assume his placement through your guidance.
 Thanks and Regards,

Answer
The birth chart is a whole one aspect on its own does not make the chart you need to look at your Jupiter in its totality.  In reality I don't' think it matters which side of the ascendant its on, its so close to it, that it will have a direct impact no matter which house. Jupiter on the Ascendant in general gives the person a very optimistic outlook on life and because of that attitude they attract good things to themselves. It can also indicate carrying excess weight because anything Jupiter touches is large.  In your case your Jupiter is very modified in the sign of Virgo, Virgo likes detail Jupiter hates it, Virgo likes to know every little thing, Jupiter wants to see the big picture.  On a positive level this combination could give you the best of both worlds you can see the big picture yet take care of minor details to get you where you want to go in life. I tend to think the Virgo qualities are stronger in you as your Jupiter makes an out of sign conjunction to your Saturn and your Moon Venus conjunction is in Virgo.  So you want to know details, just like with your birth chart you want to know which house Jupiter is in, you really don't want to hear its going to affect both about the same way, you like the formulas needed to get your answer. The other thing that you have going on with that Saturn conjunct Jupiter is you have ups and downs, you get very excited and happy about what you perceive as success in any area of your life, but if it does not work out exactly as you expect you can get very down on yourself and blame your self for anything you perceive as a failure. Your correct about  your Mars Jupiter sextile but don't forgot to add Uranus as it closely conjuncts your Mars, no aspect stands just on its own, so you want to bring this planet in also.  It shows you have a very agile mind and can easily think you way out of anything, but you can also over think, that is a lot of energy, it can indicate having trouble slowing your mind down, so you should study  subjects like yoga and meditation to get your mind under control.  In general this is a very nice combination giving you energy, intelligence and the ability to see the larger picture in life.  Your challenge is to over come your doubts and negative self appraisal.
