My boyfriend was born on 19 February 1965 at 8.30am - could you clarify what
star sign he is? Thanks

According to the birth data you provided, he has a Pisces Sun, even if he had been born in Asia, which, at that time, would be the very early degrees (in this case minutes, less than one degree) of Pisces Sun.
