I'm happy to answer general astrology questions, such as identifying a particular Moon sign or Sun sign that happens to be on the cusp, or identifying an Ascendant (Rising sign) or a ruler (or rulers) of a particular house, etc.

As an example, you might ask, "My 7th house (house of partnerships, relationships, etc.) cusp sign is Virgo, so which planet rules the house considering I have no planets in that house?"

Or, you might ask, for instance, "My natal Sun is on the cusp, in which sign is it?"

Also, if your question relates to modern, psychological astrology, I won't answer it since the bulk of my predictive work is done using more ancient forms (I find them far more accurate). I've been studying astrology since the late 1980's and have been professionally employed as an astrologer, numerologist, and handwriting analyst since 1997.

Education/Credentials
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arizona and have been exploring metaphysics since the early 1980's. I'm a self-taught astrologer and numerologist, and received my Certified Master Graphologist designation from the Institute of Graphological Science in Dallas, Texas.

Hi, Scott,

I replied to the e-mail you sent yesterday, then realized that my reply wouldn't reach you. When I went to the web site to reply I inadvertently sent my response to someone else. I hope one reaches you.

Thank you for your prompt response to my question about whether Aries or Pisces is more dominant in my chart. My information is as follows: Feb 28, 1952 at 8:28 AM, Montclair, NJ.

I value any opinion or insight you will provide - based upon what I've read on your web site you have a strong understanding and knowledge of astrology. It's also my impression that you love the subject - and I believe it makes a tremendous difference when someone is truly passionate about what they do.

Hi Allegra,

You want to know which sign is more dominant in your
basic charts, Aries or Pisces.

You've got Moon's North Node, Sun, and Mercury in Pisces.

But then you have Jupiter, Moon, and Ascendant (Rising sign)
in Aries. You've got Mars, which rules Aries, as the most
potent planet in your charts (including house placement
considerations). Mars being very potent makes those it
rules in your charts (Asc, Jupiter, and Moon in this
case) stronger.

Additionally, Moon's North Node is Combust (under the Sun's
beams--too close to the Sun--an affliction, which knocks
it's power down somewhat), as is Mercury. Mercury is also in
detriment (opposite of Virgo, in which it is dignified),
which further weakens it.

There are other things to consider, but those are the basics.
Overall, I'd say Aries energy in your basic charts is
stronger than Pisces energy. But you could further qualify
that by asking "stronger in regards to what?"
