Question
QUESTION: My birthday is June. 2, 1988. I was born between 3:45 and 4:00pm. Can you tell me the good and unfavorable qualities of my Chinese symbols?

ANSWER: Hi Camille,

You were born during the year of the Earth Dragon, month of the Fire Snake, day of the Earth Rat and hour of the Metal Monkey.

You have asked many questions in one, so what I will do is tell you the most significant things I see in your chart and grant you a follow up in the specific area of your choice.

Your combination of signs mark you as being an ambitious person with a lot of potential. You probably have a very quick mind. If you can make yourself relax from time to time, this is a big plus. If not, you could often find yourself under stress.

Your great strength is Earth and weakness, Water. Earth is associated with stability, practicality and common sense and Water with flexibility, communications, travel and interpersonal relations.

Your Fire is also moderately strong. You are likely to be dynamic and maybe charismatic. The combination of strong Fire and Earth is very good, as Fire can be reckless and Earth careful. Thus, you probably are not afraid to take quick action when necessary but still have the ability to think before you act.

With three signs from the Rat-Dragon-Monkey compatibility group, you really should partner with someone born in the year of the Rat (4 years older or 8 years younger) or the Monkey (4 years younger or 8 years older than you).

Please visit my web site, www.onlinechineseastrology.com. If you would like a more detailed reading, there are several at the site available for a modest charge. And, of course, I encourage you to submit a follow up question through allexperts.com.

Thank you for your question.

QUESTION: I would like to know if a career in fashion buying would be suitable for me,according to my charts?

Answer
Hi Camille,

Before I answer  I must apologize as I will be giving you two different answers to your question. You see I forgot to ask if the time you gave was standard or daylight savings time.

If standard time, I would say yes. You have normal Wood (fashion sense) and Metal (dealing with money matters) and Rat and Monkey signs, which are good for negotiating and buying. And, your Snake month sign is a powerful sign and helpful in both areas.

If daylight savings time the Monkey is replaced by the Sheep. Although this is good for fashion sense, it loses some of the wheeling and dealing ability. More importantly, you lose some of your Wood and Metal, the two elements most closely related to your success.

Maybe I can make it up to you. You can have another follow up question on a topic of your choice.

Thank u for your question.

Expertise

Chinese Astrology. I`ve done Chinese astrology for over 20 years, pimary experience Ming Shu style. I am NOT a psychic. I can't answer questions about when a particular event will occur, when/if your life will change, or what your spouse is going to be/look like. I do comment on relationships, career, personality analysis and life cycle chi, i.e., energy level and influences at each of the five stages of life. I evaluate specific relationships or can look at your love life in general. I can tell you your best career choices and whether the one you've chosen is good for you. And, I can identify the strong and weak times in your life. I've done work for Yahoo, astrology.com and onlinechineseastrology.com.

Experience

I've studied Chinese astrology for over 20 years now and done several thousand charts. My specialty is four pillars method, particularly as applied to evaluating relationships. I've also done Nine Star Ki and readings using Mah Jong tiles. My next step is to learn Purple Star astrology. It identifies many more chart details, but accurate readings are time consuming and dependent upon a lifetime of acquired experience.
