I am 51 years old and female.  I am going through tremendous challenges in my life right now (for about 4 mos.) mostly regarding loss and how to cope w/ it.  Is there a chance that my 2nd saturn return may be occurring early?  I was born 17th July 1957 in Russellville AR at 2:20am.  I'm not really asking for birth chart info as I have gotten that on a few free websites,although I certainly don't mind your input about it.   But I don't know enough about astrology to figure out if this is a planetary influence going on w/ me and my need for transformation.  I do know that my transit info from Cafe Astrology shows that saturn is doing a number on me until around the 24th.  Can you explain some basic things to me about this?

I am not sure why you feel Saturn is doing a job on you until the 24th at this point Saturn is not really making a major statement in your chart.  At least your natal chart, you do have the attention of Saturn for your progressed chart, maybe that is what you mean.  Either way your a Cancer with a Pisces Moon and a Gemini Ascendant, all of this makes you a very emotional person, as well as a little nervous and high strung as the ruler of your Ascendant conjuncts Uranus. You have five natal planets in  the sign of Leo. most of them make a nice trine to your natal Saturn giving you a steadiness and groundedness that can help you through hard times.  When you were about 43 years of age your natal Mercury went retrograde by progression, that often indicates feeling held back in life, not because its Mercury but because its the ruler of your ascendant, since it is Mercury is also has to do with how you give and receive information since your Mercury has also progressed into Virgo you tend to worry more and take things to much to heart, or to personal.  Sometimes dealing with loss is a way to help us get past taking things to much on a personal level.

you have the chart of a person who has deep emotional needs and feelings, so any loss is taken very personally and very seriously. I also think you tend to obsess about how things could have been different if only.  On a karmic level you have past life issues to deal with, when you were born your Pluto was 29  Leo and your Neptune was 29 Libra, both were retrograde at birth both have moved forward into the next sign. On a karmic level any 29 degree planet means you are ready to leave some part of your learning and go onto a higher plane, this is never easy to do and often means you have to leave people and things behind that you have to learn to let go. You need to learn to look beyond the personal loss and embrace change so you can move forward.  

Any loss is hard, but its often our inability to let go of the what could have been that holds us back. If you look at loss on a higher level it means whomever or whatever left you was only helping you grow and mature spiritually.

Saturn is conjuncting many of your progressed planets, indicating you are changing inside, your feeling the burdens of life on a very deep level. You cannot have an early Saturn return, expect give or take a few months as Saturn has a set orbit that does not change, so your Saturn return is not due for several years not until 2014 or so, so its a long way off.

You will be dealing with the transiting Uranus on your natal Moon, that is a difficult aspect and can make you feel very unsure of your life, to many changes and to many surprises keeps you off balance. Its very possible you will be changing jobs, and that is what is not setting well with you, its more a financial of security issue, but its going to let you move forward, right now your being held back, you may be in a stagnate situation that needs change.
