Hi Bill.  I believe that I'm lucky being born in the year of the Dragon (April 12, 1976) but I feel not so lucky lately.  I feel that I am in career stump.  Is there a way to be out of this rut? Being a new Director in a state-funded preschool, I feel so overworked and stressed that im close to burn-out or is it more that I'm unlucky?  I hope you could give some insights and what would be the best career move.

You were born during the year of the Fire Dragon, month of the Water Dragon and day of the Wood Horse.

You are currently in the period of life called Maturation. It is the time after formal education and before you achieve your peak earnings potential. It unfortunately is your weakest chi (energy/life force) time. Thus, it is not surprising you feel you are having to greatly exert yourself to achieve your goals.

Yes, there is a way out, but it is a factor of time. Mid life for you is a strong time. After about age 35 you should find that it is easier for you to achieve your goals.

By the way, given your low chi in maturation, it would have been best if you married closer to 30 than 20. If you married early, that probably made matters even more challenging.

One final point, you could have a good opportunity for a career change in mid life.
