What is your opinion on DEC 21st 2012 being the end of the earth as we know it.

Answer
This is a good timely question.  Many people are concerned about 2012, because that is the year the Mayan calendar ends. I am not one who thinks this is the end of times, as since man has been on this planet he has looked towards the end.  Every few years we hear about how something that is about to happen that only happens ever once in a zillion years means the end, and yet it never happens.  The Mayan Calendar is not fully understood and to be honest its not my area of expertize, but i do know the4 Mayans had a long and short calendar its the short calendar that ends, so its not the end of time as we know it.

That being said I will say the next several years will be a bumpy ride, as astrologically we have some very strong planetary configurations, the recent Saturn Uranus opposition an Pluto entering Capricorn is the start of all the new activity. 2012 is sort of the climax of all this planetary energy.  My take on it is its a time for us as species to make choices, are we going to continue living in a way that does not respect our planet or each other or are we going to live in a way that honors our planet as well as ourselves and others.  mankind is at a pivotal point, and the way we go will dictate how the rest of this century goes. The choices will be made because we all have pressure on us, financial as well as challenges between nations for dominance its a time when we can become spiritually open or spiritually closed.  I choose to think humanity will step up to the plate and work for the good of all.
