Question
Dear Tess:  I'm born 12/19/41 at 11:53 A.M. in New York City.  I know my chart very well.  My ruler is Neptune and it's in the 7th house.  My question concerns a man I met recently.  He was born August 3, 1941 in San Juan Puerto Rico time unknown.  We have many shared planets such as Mars, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Pluto and Chiron.  However his Mars turned retrograde and mine is direct.  His nodes exactly conjunct my ascendant/descendant axis.  My Venus in Aquarius opposes his Sun in Leo in my 5th/11 house.  What does this mean?  Thanks for your help.

Answer
You were born 4 months apart, so it is normal for you to share trans-saturnians...  For synastries, we consider personal planets.

The nodes conjunction is a good omen, even if the relationship doesn't turned out as committed,l this man will probably remain in your life.

Sun opposite Venus demonstrates attraction, while preserving excitement and interest.

Good luck to you!
T.
