Hello-
I have a few things going on- 6/29/1964 Norwalk Ct 8:35pm
A significant relationship has ended I am now a single mom, and see I have mars, and venus by progression passing over my sun, mercury and entering my 7th house. Is this a yea on focus and probability that a significant relationship may present itself?
Also I have pluto on my south node, opposite my north node- any comments on pluto on south node almost on my ascendent- also opposing north node/sun/mercry next couple of years?

For progressions, you need to use tight orbs: 1.5 degrees for the sun and moon, 1 degree for the other planets.

Mars is at 9.44 cancer, which means that its influence is now fading - this might actually account for the man leaving your life.  
Venus is at 6.51 cancer, which is too early to have an influence on your sun yet.

Mars just started aspecting your DC, and I would suspect you'll be getting the full effects within 2 years. You might expect some activity in the area of partnership, someone new entering your life, especially since Mars is located natally in your 5th house of romance. I am actually quite optimistic regarding this "new man", since Pvenus will be conjunct your sun when the romance starts developping.

I would recommend for your to do a Solar Return chart, these are great to spot relationships matters.

Pluto won't be on your AC until 2013, and won't be opposing your sun until 2012, so it is a little too early to panick ;)

Regarding its conjunction to your SN, it will be a time when you need to prune your life and re-direct it to follow your path.  Expect some changes on the job front, be careful of harsh interactions with your co-workers.

The aspect you need to pay attention to is the sextile Pluto will make to your moon...  These planets are opposite in the natal, and you will be getting an opportunity to be dealing with the issues of this opposition, however they are manifesting in your life: problematic relationship with the mother, copmplex relationships with your kid, a tendency to lose one self in relationships, having a hard time combining one's public figure - career, status - with the demands of relationships...

Be excited about what the future holds, and when one is about to enter Pluto transits, I always recommend a therapy, or some sort of "internal work" to get the full benefit of it...
