Astrology/scientist at heart... but interested

QuestionHello there!
So, I never really held much respect for astrology... though I realize it was more because of the inaccurate (and probably made up in most cases) "horoscopes" that you can read in any magazine...
However, when it comes to personality readings... I've never found it to be so accurate. So I'm slowly becoming a believer. I have a lot more research to do... I'm a sun scorpio so.. you know how stubborn we are =P
Anyway... my question came to me out of the blue.
The debate goes on and on between many people (especially with the abortion issue..) on exactly when a being is created. Astrology uses a persons time of birth to forecast all of its readings and predictions. However... I am a scientist.. and there is no argument that new life begins at the moment of conception. It just spends nine months growing inside another being...
What is your opinion as far as what astrology should take into account? Readings have always been done by birth date... but would a reading done by conception date be sound? Or... perhaps the date a fetus' brain is formed... and therefore affected by the cosmos?
I'm curious as to if anyone's ever really looked into that and if there really is any effect...
No one really knows "how" astrology works... I guess that's what bugs scorpios like me... we can't totally figure it out lol
Thanks!
AnswerNikki,
I am using this forum to help those persons who believe in astrology and are facing any problem which can be solved with astrological remedies. Since, I can answer very limited questions here and I do not have have much time, I do not involve myself in any kind of debate. Anyways, your question is related to Garbh Kundli concept. Yes, future of child including birth time is decided the moment formation of embryo starts in womb. Information on this subject may be available in the books and websites on Indian Astrology.
