QUESTION: Hi Tess. I wanted to ask you about the function of Relocation Charts. Is it true that your HOUSE CUSPS SHIFT when you relocate far away from your original birth place? If so, do you look to THOSE HOUSES during transits? Thank you very much for your time!

ANSWER: Melissa,

Your houses are going to shift drastically if you are far away...
Also, if you have intercepted houses in your chart, they can be "freed"...

I don't look at the relocation chart for the transits... I only use it to have an idea of the energies that will be prevalent in this new location, and the opportunities you encounter during your stay there...

QUESTION: Hi Tess. My follow up question is this. When you relocate and your houses shift to different signs, do you acquire a Relocated Ascendant and Midheaven sign?

Yes, you get another rising sign, as well as a new MH... Your rising will shift approximately one sign per 2 1/2 hours of time difference.
