Hi Bill,

I've recently met someone and I would like to know what are the chances for a relationship. I'm born on 2 Apr 1985 and the other party is born on 30 Mar 1974. We are both living long distance. Thank you.

Normally Ox and Tiger have a poor chance of forming a lasting relationship that brings happiness to them.

In your case the match is 47% favorable, which is very so-so but actually good for an Ox and Tiger. It has a slightly less than 50-50 chance of lasting and bringing you the happiness you seek.

The biggest thing in your favor is you were both born in a Wood year. Wood is the element associated with compromise and being a good-hearted person.

What works against you is both the Ox and Tiger are aggressive. This wouldn't be so bad, except they exhibit this traits in very different and conflicting styles. The Ox tends to be plodding and cold while the Tiger active and hot. Clashes of wills and misunderstandings are thus inevitable.

You will both have to decide whether the positives outweigh the negatives, and if you are willing to make the compromises and extra effort to make this match succeed.
