Hi, I'm hoping to buy a used car in the very near future - I've found one about 1.5 hours away that's exactly the make/model I want, in terrific shape (according to the photos and description), and though it will cost a little bit more than I'd originally budgeted, it looks to be worth it. I'm probably going to check it out tomorrow; if it lives up to its description, I'll put down a deposit or buy it outright.

However, it's occurred to me that astrology may have something to say about the timing of car purchases: for example, looking at the "natal" chart of the moment when I either pay for the car or drive it home for the first time; or, looking at transits to specific planets or houses in my natal chart. I'd appreciate any thoughts you may have on this.

Answer
You need to look at the transits to your 2nd house - finances - as well as your transits to the 3rd house - rules transportation.  Be careful to buy anything with Mercury retrograde.

You can go to astro.com and draw your chart + transits...
