You were born during the year of the Wood Rat, month of the Earth Dragon, day of the Metal Sheep and hour of the Earth Dog.

Well, you've managed to ask many questions in one, a comprehensive answer running as much as 50 pages.

What I will do is tell you some of the most important things I see in your chart and grant you one, follow up question on a particular topic. It will, however, have to be after I return from vacation (leaving Thursday).

Career is likely to be a big challenge for you, as your indicator of career success is low. Your element matrix reveals you having a lot (excess) of Earth and no Fire. This makes you more the engineering rather than the cheerleader type. Also, you don't have much Water, which is associated with speaking and writing.

QUESTION: Hi Bill,

Thank you for your response, it was very helpful. The last couple of years have been fairly difficult in terms of career and relationships. Things seem to be improving little by little, but I am afraid the get my hopes up.

I was in a career that wasn't right for me. I entered nursing because I wanted to help people but I wasn't happy in that job, in fact I was quite miserable. Currently i'm doing a routine paperwork job which I am better at and am enjoying a lot more. I think I've found my niche and I hope I will be able to continue this job for as long as possible. But I am always worried about downfall, which might be characteristic of my sign as a wood rat.

As for relationships, it seems I have always had difficulty maintaining the interest of the opposite sex. I am at a point in my life where i'm starting to worry.

My follow-up question is: what is my chi level at each of the five stages of life, and when would be the best time/opportunity in my life to get married?

Hi Jennifer,

Your chi (energy/life force) was very high at birth and is likely to be very low during your retirement years. It's thus important to make a good career for yourself now. You might think of a government job, thus insuring you a steady source of retirement income.

You are currently in the period of life called Maturation, the time after formal education when you embark on your career and begin your family.

It is unfortunately another low chi period for you. Marriage is thus more likely to be successful closer to age 30 than 20.

Fortunately the next period, after about age 40 should be a high normal chi time, with an emphasis on family happiness.

For now you should focus on getting a job with a decent pension. Marriage between 35-40 should work out fine, no hurry there.
