QUESTION: Dear Bill, tahnk you very much for ur reply. I would appreciate it if you could answer my following questions pls:A)I had 2 major relationships in my life, both Metal Rats 1960,I just realised the element of Dragon and monkey are quite strong in my chart,which makes the rat being compatible with my sign as opposed to the common belief that they are totally incompatible(Horse versus Rat)?Can these factors(Dragon month&day,monkey hour)influence the fire horse compatibility issues? B)Does the fact that I have such a difficult love luck mean that I will never find love? Knowing it makes it easiere to deal with.

Difficult certainly does not mean impossible.

You have identified something very significant. Fate has actually given you a most typical, fatal attraction situation.

You are absolutely right. Your Dragon and Monkey signs strongly lead you to be attracted to Rat-sign people. If you were not a Fire Horse (say Metal or Wood Horse), you might even make it work with a Rat, given your Monkey and Dragon signs.

Unfortunately, the Rat is a Water sign. In Chinese the characters for Water and Fire (your sign) literally spell disaster.

It would be unwise to go against fate and seek a Rat partner, especially since your indicators for family happiness are low to begin with. Rather, you want to increase your chances by finding the most compatible match. Someone born in the year of the Dragon (two years older or 10 years younger) may be best; although, there will be occasional struggles for dominance. The good, however, could be really good. By the way, the Horse lady usually keeps her looks and vitality longer than other signs. Ten years younger is not at all out of the question.
