I was wondering what the compatibility between a female born on July 22, 1989
and a male born on December 29, 1986.

Hi Natashia,

The female was born during the year of the Earth Snake, month of the Metal Sheep and day of the Water Sheep.

The male was born during the year of the Fire Tiger, month of the Metal Rat and day of the Fire Sheep.

From a Chinese Astrology perspective this match has about a 40% favorable compatibility rating, which is significantly below average. It thus has less than a 50-50 chance of lasting and bringing the happiness they seek.

The Tiger/Rat combination is too Yang/aggressive for the female's Snake/Sheep. Although their overall element balance is not too bad, there is a lack of Metal in the two charts. This means there could be a problem with staying power, the will to keep the relationship going in tough times.

To be honest, they both can do a lot better. The female would be happier with someone born in the year of the Rabbit, two years older, and the male with a Dragon, two years younger.
