Questionwhen saturn is in the 10th house not on the cusp. Cancer is on the cusp. how does this affect you. Saturn is going direct so I was interested thank you Ruth
AnswerI am not sure if you mean Saturn in your tenth house natally or Saturn in your tenth by transit. So I am going to give you a general answer. Saturn like all the planets goes through a cycle of retrograde. For Saturn its usually about 4 and a 1/2 months every year.
Since Saturn represent work ethics and lessons we need to learn, its change of direction always comes with a lesson, and in your case, tenth house, more than likely something to do with your work, or work ethics. Saturn has the undeserved reputation for not allowing us to get what we want, the reality is just the opposite, if we work hard and have good ethic's Saturn brings us just what we are working towards. In general Saturn is well placed in the tenth so no matter what sign its in if its in the tenth is a good placement for Saturn, it can run the rage of finding the job you have always wanted, a promotion, increased work responsibilities, increased respect to retirement and the ending of a career. The change of direction from retrograde to direct often coincides with times of activity, things that have not been moving along start to move, decisions you are waiting for start to happen. Its also the time of the fruits of hard work being harvested, or you get what you have been working towards.
