Trisha Born 7.19.1986 at 6:31pm in Chicago, IL. Ive read that my sun sign is considered to be a cusp sign. Can you please confirm whether I am a cancer or leo?

This is an easy one. You have a Cancer Sun.
So you can say that you are "a Cancer."
Almost 27 degrees Cancer (30 degrees each
sign).

The Sun didn't change signs/move into Leo until
the evening of July 22, 1986 at that location.

Sun changes signs at different times each year,
within a few days. For example, it might have
entered Leo on the 21st five years ago. This
year it enters Leo on the 22nd of July.

Your Mercury ("natal Mercury") is in Leo.

Your Moon, Mars, and Neptune are in Capricorn,
Venus in Virgo, and Saturn, Uranus, and Ascendant
(Rising Sign) in/is Sagittarius. Jupiter in
Pisces. There's a lot more to it than that
(500+ other indicators), but those are some
of the basics.
