Question
I was born May 21, 1993 at 9:30 (approx). Some websites/magazine/newspapers say that I am Taurus and others say I am Gemini. so what am I? Taurus or Gemini? or am I both?

Answer
Carla,

You didn't say whether you were born in the a.m.
or p.m. at that time and date in the Dominican
Republic, but either one, a.m. or p.m. gives
you a Gemini Sun (that means you are "a Gemini").

You also have Moon and Mercury in Gemini (a.m.
or p.m.).

Sun entered Gemini at that approximate location
(Dominican Republic) around 9:20 p.m. on May
20, 1993.

I use the Tropical Zodiac and I believe it's
superior to the Sidereal (an alternate, less
accurate zodiac in my view)

The reason newspapers and magazine horoscopes
offer sometimes varying dates for any one
Sun sign is because they (those who publish
the horoscopes) don't realize (or don't care)
that the signs change at different times each
year, within a few days. For example, 5.21.1950
at your birth location at 9:30 a.m. has the
Sun in very late degrees Taurus.

Expertise

Please note: I DON'T DO PERSONAL READINGS HERE. That means if you ask for a free reading, your question will be rejected.

I'm happy to answer general astrology questions, such as identifying a particular Moon sign or Sun sign that happens to be on the cusp, or identifying an Ascendant (Rising sign) or a ruler (or rulers) of a particular house, etc.

As an example, you might ask, "My 7th house (house of partnerships, relationships, etc.) cusp sign is Virgo, so which planet rules the house considering I have no planets in that house?"

Or, you might ask, for instance, "My natal Sun is on the cusp, in which sign is it?"

Again, I WON'T DO PERSONAL READINGS HERE. Also, if your question relates to modern, psychological astrology, I won't answer it since the bulk of my predictive work is done using more ancient forms (I find them far more accurate). I won't answer questions about Chinese astrology or Vedic/Hindu astrology either.

My expertise involves the application of ancient forms of astrology (and numerology) to interpret personal fate, and assess personality and compatibility. http://www.scottpetullo.com http://www.mystictwins.com
