Dear Scott,
Please could you help me to find out what the "rising" signs are for 2 Gemini females?
First one: Sandy was born at 06:00 am on 07/06/1986 in Cape Town, South Africa and
Second : Wendy (me) was born at 05:00 amd on 08/06/1963, also in Cape Town, South Africa.

I'm happy to calculate the rising signs (Ascendants)
for you.
Good you mentioned that both have Gemini Sun signs
because some people note the date w/the month first
and others list it with the day of birth first.
Sandy, if born June 7, 1986, 6 a.m. in Cape Town,
has a Taurus rising sign.
You have a Taurus rising sign also, if born on June
8, 1963 at 5 a.m. in Cape Town.
These calculations are using the Tropical zodiac,
not the Sidereal. Sidereal is used in Hindu/Vedic
astrology, and in my opinion, isn't as accurate,
particularly in calculating the Sun, Moon,
Ascendant, and other indicators.
For example, Sidereal zodiac gives you a Taurus
Sun, not Gemini Sun.
Also, using Sidereal zodiac puts the Moon in
Virgo as I type this, and it isn't in Virgo,
it's in Libra, as the Tropical zodiac shows.
Sidereal zodiac is from a time when the natives
were unclear about the true workings of this
planet and solar system, and it pre-dates
horoscopic astrology.

happy to answer general astrology questions, such as identifying a particular Moon sign or Sun sign that happens to be on the cusp, or identifying an Ascendant (Rising sign) or a ruler (or rulers) of a particular house, etc.
As an example, you might ask, "My 7th house (house of partnerships,
relationships, etc.) cusp sign is Virgo, so which planet rules the house
considering I have no planets in that house?"
Or, you might ask, for instance, "My natal Sun is on the cusp, in which sign is it?"
