Question
Hi. My name is Jordan. I was born in the year of the rooster. 2011 is the year of the rabbit, which is not compatible with rooster, BUT my day and hour sign are pig and sheep. Do all the four pillars matter in a yearly horoscope or just the animal sign???

Hi Jordan,

The short answer to your question is the Four Pillars always matter. To get a full appreciation of any situation it's important to look at all four signs.

To be honest I haven't been taught or seen anything on this particular issue. I can only fall back on my first comment.

So I have to say yes, your year should not be as bad as you will see in horoscopes. I wouldn't, however, say your Pig and Sheep signs reverse things and actually make it a favorable one.

Looking at your chart overall, I'd say you could be facing an unfavorable year (but not a disastrous one) but can look forward to some very nice months, especially the months of the Ox, Snake and Pig.

Those are the times you want to take care of important things, big purchase, lengthy vacation, investment, job change, moving, engagement, whatever.

Just be sure you duck for cover in the month of the Rabbit. I don't think your Sheep and Pig are going to do much to offset a double Rabbit (year and month) working against your primary/Rooster year sign.
