Hello, My boyfriend is born on July 20th 1981 at 11:59pm in Baton Rouge,LA. He's born on a cusp but which sign is more pronounced? Does being born on a cusp make him afflicted? Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi Deanna,

According to the data you listed, his Sun is at
28 degrees 20 minutes Cancer. So, he is "a Cancer."

But I encourage you to avoid mere Sun sign astrology,
since it's superficial and won't give you any meaningful
insight.

No, don't worry about it. Being born while the Sun is in
late or early degrees does not make him "afflicted."

There are countless possible afflictions and the energy
of any single one is often mitigated, so don't worry
too much about single negatives. Besides, late degrees
Sun is nothing to be concerned about.

The Sun, in his basic natal chart, is not even close
to being the most potent planet any way.

Also, he has Moon's North Node, Venus, and Part of
Fortune in Leo.

Plus, he has Mercury and Mars in Cancer; and Jupiter,
Saturn, and Pluto in Libra. Not to mention Aries on
the Ascendant (Rising sign), Capricorn on the MC,
and much, much more.

You are infinitely more than just a Sun sign.
