I would like to know about my compatibility with the guy that I'm in a relationship with.
I was born on March 22, 1984 and him, on July 20,1977

You were born during the year of the Wood Rat, month of the Fire Rabbit and day of the Wood Rabbit.

He was born during the year of the Fire Snake, month of the Fire Sheep and day of the Earth Tiger.

From a Chinese Astrology perspective, this match has an 80% favorable, compatibility rating, which is excellent. This match has a very good chance of lasting and bringing you the happiness you seek.

I see two things in your charts that could present problems, but if those are under control, and neither of you is damaged goods (drugs, alcohol, other addictions or mental problems) this could be an extremely rewarding partnership.

First, both of your charts are unbalanced in that you each have one very strong element and a shortage of another. He lacks Metal, which is for perseverance and fighting spirit. When challenges to the relationship come up (and they do for everyone) he might not be willing to stay and fight to make things right. You lack Earth, his strongest element. You're probably not as practical as he is and may occasionally have trouble relating to him.

The second thing is he has two Fire signs, so he could have a bit of a temper.

Please let me say this. I don't know your time. In Chinese Astrology that is your fourth sign, after year, month and day, so these shortcomings may not be as bad as I said. And, anyway, your compatibility is so good, you should be able to easily overcome any problems that come up as long as you are both committed to each other.
