Please allow me to share my beliefs on soul mates.

I believe a soul mate could just as easily be a best friend, relative, coworker, neighbor, or even someone who you don't like, as it could be your spouse. My guess, however, is that it most often is a spouse.

I also believe a soul mate helps us with our "lessons", some of which could even be painful. So i'm not expecting perfect compatibility out of a soul mate. Looking at your chart that could easily apply to you. Your Rat day and hour signs conflict with the Rabbit sign. So, if you did match up with a Rabbit soul mate, there will likely be some clashes of will and misunderstandings. Not saying this will happen, just that it might. I'm not a strict determinist. For me Chinese Astrology is all about identifying and making the best of probabilities.
