Astrology/When to have next baby

Question
Hi Bill,
I would like to know when (what month/year within the next 3 years) it would be the most ideal time for me to have a 2nd baby. I think it is most important that the second baby gets along with my son but of course it would be great if all signs were fairly compatible. I am an Earth Sheep (Jan 23, 1980/3:40pm in Manila Philippines); my husband is an Earth Monkey (Aug 25, 1968/4:08am San Francisco); my son is an Earth Ox (July 29, 2009/8:35am San Francisco).

Thanks!
Roxanne

Answer
Hi Roxanne,

You were born during the year of the Earth Sheep, month of the Fire Ox, day of the Wood Sheep and hour of the Wood Monkey.

Your husband was born during the year of the Earth Monkey, month of the Metal Monkey, day of the Fire Rabbit and hour of the Water Tiger.

Your son was born during the year of the Earth Ox, month of the Metal Sheep, day of the Wood Pig and Hour of the Metal Dragon.

I hope you're pregnant, because this year, Year of the Rabbit is the best for you. First, I will give you a breakout (source: The Complete Book of Chinese Horoscopes) of you and your husband's relationship to a child born in each of the next 3 years.

You. Rabbit child: warm and sensitive (3 stars), Dragon: proud parenting (4 stars), Snake: supportive ties (3 stars). So the next three years are a great time for you to get pregnant from your perspective.

Your husband: Rabbit child: a sensitive bonding (3 stars), Dragon: shared support (4 stars), Snake: cool but understanding (2 stars).

Here are my thoughts regarding your son.

Rabbit sibling. Contentment and lots of peace on the home front. They'll probably like the same pace of activity.

Dragon sibling. Rivalries and lots of clashes of will. Probably the most difficult.

Snake sibling. Likely to be extremely compatible. On the same wavelength/very able to satisfy each other's needs.

Unfortunately what's great for you and your husband, Dragon child, is horrible for your son. I'm sorry I can't give you better news. I'm not even going to give you a month recommendation. It won't help. No need for a month recommendation this year either. You're pregnant now, or you're not.

That leaves us the year of the Snake. There's an interesting coincidence here. Your three year signs are the same as your month signs! (except you and your son switch the position of Sheep and Ox) So again my best recommendation would be Rabbit month, March 12 to April 9, 2013.

Expertise

Chinese Astrology. I`ve done Chinese astrology for over 20 years, pimary experience Ming Shu style. I am NOT a psychic. I can't answer questions about when a particular event will occur, when/if your life will change, or what your spouse is going to be/look like. I do comment on relationships, career, personality analysis and life cycle chi, i.e., energy level and influences at each of the five stages of life. I evaluate specific relationships or can look at your love life in general. I can tell you your best career choices and whether the one you've chosen is good for you. And, I can identify the strong and weak times in your life. I've done work for Yahoo, astrology.com and onlinechineseastrology.com.

Experience

I've studied Chinese astrology for over 20 years now and done several thousand charts. My specialty is four pillars method, particularly as applied to evaluating relationships. I've also done Nine Star Ki and readings using Mah Jong tiles. My next step is to learn Purple Star astrology. It identifies many more chart details, but accurate readings are time consuming and dependent upon a lifetime of acquired experience.
