QUESTION: Hi Bill, my name is Rachel, female. My DOB: 2nd, January, 1985,
10:00 AM, Israel, Tel Aviv.
I've studied fashion design in my country, Israel about a year ago, and i've sent some of my designs to London, UK about 2 months ago..i'd like to know if you see any success in fashion design in my future?

ANSWER: Hi Rachel,

Well of course no one can tell you for sure whether or not you will be successful. Based on your chart I can make some observations that hopefully will help.

You were born during the year of the Wood Rat, month of the Fire Rat, day of the Metal Ox and hour of the Water Snake.

Your animal signs are encouraging, especially the double Rat.

You were born in a Wood year, which perhaps makes you more of a creative rather than an entrepreneurial Rat type. So this is positive. Generally Rat sign people are good at coming up with ideas and being innovative. It is the first sign in the Chinese zodiac, so it is associated with new beginnings, new trends, etc., also good for fashion design.

Your element mix, however, is not so encouraging. You have lots of Water in your chart but no Wood outside your Year sign. These are the two elements most closely associated with success as a fashion designer. So, when you put the two together, it shows there's a possibility of success, but you're really going to have to work for it.

One more point. Water (your strength) if associated with communications and interpersonal relations. If fashion design doesn't work out, or you're looking for something else in the future, I might such interior decorator. That career would still give you a chance to use your artistic talents while also increasing the importance of communications with clients, likely to be a strong point of yours. Landscape architecture is another possibility.

The short answer to your question is you have an above average chance of success, but it's not an ideal career for you.

Hi,

I've always believed a person should play to her strengths to have the best chance of achieving her goals. Your great strength is represented by the element, Water. Looking at your chart overall I'd say your best careers include teaching, research, journalism, one that involves a lot of travel, one that involves networking, marketing, and public relations. I'm sure there are more. Just keep in mind the big 3, communications, interpersonal relations and travel.

One other point, your double Rat sign indicates you're best suited for a career that makes use of your quick, analytical mind.
