Astrology/Astrology, Birth Time & Caesarian Section

Question
I am expecting my first child (a son) this Christmas day 2007 (at least that's what the doctors say) and I'm excited about it.  The only concern that I have is that they (the doctors) want to deliver via caesarian section for no good reason (other than to get more insurance money, is my guess.)  Anyway, what are your thoughts on manipulation of the birth date/time as they relate to astrology?  I am an astrology novice, but I recognize the issues caused by lack of birth time when creating a chart (no ascendant, midheaven, moon location, mercury, etc..)  Would an experienced astrologer recognize differences between manipulated birth times and natural birth times?

Answer
Hi Michael,

Congratulations on the upcoming birth!

You should have the baby the way you see as best. Always planned on having a natural birth? Do it that way. Decided to have a c-section? Then do it that way. Planning on a natural birth, but then circumstances dictate a c-section? Then do it that way. Decide which is best, but also go with the flow.

Simply embrace the birth time any way it comes about. There is no such thing as a "lack of a birth time" in relation to astrology and numerology.

Even if you, from the start, intended on "manipulating" the birth time, the time you "choose" is the fated time, in my view. It's similar to attempting to "manipulate" the name you give the baby.

The soul of the baby is already well aware of which method will be used, and the birth time fits the baby perfectly.

Perhaps the soul of the baby guided you to ask me this question so that I could provide you with some peace of mind.

Expertise

Please note: I DON'T DO PERSONAL READINGS HERE. That means if you ask for a free reading, your question will be rejected.

I'm happy to answer general astrology questions, such as identifying a particular Moon sign or Sun sign that happens to be on the cusp, or identifying an Ascendant (Rising sign) or a ruler (or rulers) of a particular house, etc.

As an example, you might ask, "My 7th house (house of partnerships, relationships, etc.) cusp sign is Virgo, so which planet rules the house considering I have no planets in that house?"

Or, you might ask, for instance, "My natal Sun is on the cusp, in which sign is it?"

Again, I WON'T DO PERSONAL READINGS HERE. Also, if your question relates to modern, psychological astrology, I won't answer it since the bulk of my predictive work is done using more ancient forms (I find them far more accurate). I won't answer questions about Chinese astrology or Vedic/Hindu astrology either.

My expertise involves the application of ancient forms of astrology (and numerology) to interpret personal fate, and assess personality and compatibility. http://www.scottpetullo.com http://www.mystictwins.com
