QUESTION: Hi Scott

There is a conjunction of Pluto and Jupiter coming and this conjuction will be in Sagittarius which falls in my fourth house.  Can you tell me what this will mean for me.

My birthday is July 1, 1958 and I am a Cancer with Leo rising.

ANSWER: Hi Sharon,

Yes, many are talking about the conjunction of Pluto and Jupiter at this time. It happens every so often and sometimes it is reflective of key life circumstances or events for any one person, but many times not at all. It ultimately shows the futility of non-personalized horoscopes, such as Sun sign and basic transit horoscopes. Why? Read on.

If you have this natal consideration (e.g., in the 2nd house, or an angular house) it can be a very good sign for abundance. The closer the conjunction, the better. Even by sign it's good.

However, in itself, it means little. You must look at all natal and timing considerations and one single indicator, such as Pluto conjunct Jupiter, is almost insignificant compared to the other mitigating or corroborating factors.

OK, got the disclaimer out of the way. :o)

Now, you didn't offer your birth time and place (not to mention your full legal birth name), and besides, I don't do readings here, as I say on my AllExperts profile.

However, generally, Pluto and Jupiter conjunct transiting your 4th house is a good thing, especially regarding abundance related to 4th house concerns (family, etc).

But without looking into your comprehensive charts, how is your natal Pluto and Jupiter, their rulers, and all other related indicators? That's what the horoscope crowd doesn't tell you--that you must first look at your natal considerations, as they take their significance with them via related cyclical timing considerations.

Thus, if someone has a totally messed up natal Jupiter, a nice Jupiter transit may mean nothing to that person's life, not even considering the other indicators, which could easily bring the rewarding Jupiter transit energy down several notches by themselves, even if they had a very healthy, well-placed Jupiter.

Transits are best for fine-tuning, by the way, in my view.

Again, I'd have to review your comprehensive charts (astrology and numerology) to tell you about your love, money, fame, or whatever natal and timing for any given point in your life.
