Question
Hello,

I was reading an interview from an astrologer who was talking about a person's probablity for fame can be connected to having Uranus, Pluto and Neptune close to the tenth house.

I know wherever Uranus is in the natal chart can suggest sudden changes and the tenth house has to do with one's career. What does it mean when a person has the Moon, Uranus and Pluto in the Tenth House? Does this suggest some type of fame or unusual career? Perhaps being in the public eye in some way?

Answer
Hi, Regina,

Fame cannot be told from having one planet close to the tenth house, or even three. In order to see if a person is likely to achieve fame, you need to look, not only at what is in or near the house, but also what aspects are made to those planets, what apects are made to the midheaven, the sign on the midheaven, the ruling planet of the midheaven sign, and aspects it makes.  In addition, you need to see if the person has reasons why they would shy away from fame, such as a heavy twelfth house, or a heavy fourth house.

The Moon in the 10th usually indicates someone who has been taught to believe that feeling secure is dependent on what they do for a living. Furthermore, since every adult has a child still inside who craves love and attention, and this child is connected with the Moon, this is the position of someone who needs to make sure that they always need the respect of those around them. There is also usually the ability to tune into the vibrations of the public around the person, so often the person works in a career that works with the public.

Uranus in the tenth usually is full of ideas to change society in some way, or at least, the world they live in. The ideals are often very strong. Most people with this position experience frequent job canges.  The person is happiest at jobs where they have a lot of personal freedom, especially if they are allowed to experiment.

Pluto in the tenth has a deep need to be in control, and many of them have difficulty submitting to authority unless it is temporary as part of the road to personal independence.  On the negative side, there can be the danger of trying to control other people, but the more elevated types do not succumb to that.  The person usually has a great deal of stamina when they are on the path they wish to be on.

Best wishes,
Zane

Expertise

I WILL BE HAPPY TO answer questions about astrology in general, the meanings of planets, signs, houses, aspects, asteroids, Chiron, etc. I use Western, Tropical Astrology. Please do not ask me questions about Vedic Astrology as I am not an expert on this.

I WILL NOT ANSWER PERSONAL QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR INDIVIDUAL CHART, such as "Will I get rich?" or "Will I get married?", or "Are we compatible?" I do have a private astrological practice, and if you need to ask those type of questions, contact me privately and we`ll discuss a possible astrologer/client relationship. Also, I cannot answer questions about Vedic Astrology, or Chinese Astrology.

Also, astrology is NOT "What is my lucky stone?" or "What is my lucky color?" or "What are my lucky numbers?" Any astrologer who gives you a lucky object, or number, based on your chart, is not a real astrologer, but someone who is giving in to superstition. In order to find out how to enhance your luck, you need to have an astrologer look at your whole chart, and tell you what areas you need to focus upon, how to accent your positives, and work to resolve any problems that exist.

Experience

I've been involved with astrology since 1969, taught classes on several occasions, written a number of articles and one book, and lectured around the USA, in Canada, Great Britain, Scotland and Ireland.
