QUESTION: What are the benefits of having sun sign Taurus and rising sign Taurus,with Venus in the twelfth house.My birth information is,May,13 1982 at 5:57 am in Elaine,Arkansas.

ANSWER: Hi Donna,

The benefits symbolic of Sun in Taurus, Ascendant in Taurus, and Venus in 11th house are many. But I must ask you, benefits in relation to what? There are many areas of life to consider.

By the way, with the birth data you supplied, I see your 12th house cusp at about 13 degrees Aries and your Venus at about 10 degrees Aries. Therefore, it's in the 11th house, yet only about 3 degrees from the 12th.

Sun in Taurus can (I say "can" because any one indicator can be corroborated or mitigated by the rest of the considerations) equate to logic, pragmatism, and a higher than average focus on material security and sensuality.

Ascendant/Rising sign Taurus represents more of the same and more, as the Ascendant directly points to primary motivations. The Ascendant is a very personal consideration. Look to the ruler of the Ascendant for more information.

Ascendant ruler Venus in 11th house symbolizes a strong urge toward developing and nurturing friendships and associations, for example. Venus in Aries can indicate some related aggressiveness and a freedom-oriented disposition.

Your other Ascendant ruler is Moon. Moon in Capricorn could point to someone who is somewhat serious and controlled in their emotional expression, for instance. Moon in 9th house is symbolic of spiritual and, or religious inclinations, among other things. By itself, it's a good placement indicative of prophetic talent. possible when the Moon rules cancer and cancer is not my Ascendent.

ANSWER: Yes, like I said, the other Ascendant ruler in this case is the Moon. Moon rules Cancer and is exalted in Taurus, just as Sun rules Leo and is exalted in Aries, etc. You must consider more than just the basic ruler.

Yes, if you had been born at 5:54 a.m. your Venus would still be in the 11th house, although only 2 degrees from the 12th cusp.
