Question
i'm confused. i'm a scorpio with the sun in my 7th house and a taurus rising. so, my question is, when you say saturn is in cancer, my  supposed 9th house, do you mean that saturn is really in cancer which rules my 3rd house in my chaart since, my sun and scorpio rules is my 7th house?

Hi, Chi,

It is easy to see how you got confused...you are talking about two entirely different things.

If you only talk about Sun Signs, you are a Scorpio.  The 9th sign from Scorpio is Cancer, which means that in a solar chart, all Scorpios have Cancer on the 9th house.

When you read astrological forecasts for Scorpio Sun Signs, they can only use solar charts for a mass forecast.  There is no way a forecast could be written to cover all possible combinations of Sun/Rising Sign/Moon Sign charts without writing a whole book!

When you talk about your natal chart, based on your birth time, you have Taurus rising.  Cancer is indeed your third house cusp, and so Saturn could very easily be in Cancer in your third house.

So both are correct...Saturn in your Solar 9th house, and in your natal 3rd house.

But the chart with Taurus Rising will be much more descriptive of you as an individual, than just using the Solar chart.

Also, astrology is NOT "What is my lucky stone?" or "What is my lucky color?" or "What are my lucky numbers?" Any astrologer who gives you a lucky object, or number, based on your chart, is not a real astrologer, but someone who is giving in to superstition. In order to find out how to enhance your luck, you need to have an astrologer look at your whole chart, and tell you what areas you need to focus upon, how to accent your positives, and work to resolve any problems that exist.
