Well, there are two things in your chart that are problematic, but there is also a very big positive.

Let's get the bad stuff out of the way first.

There is no Fire in your chart, and Fire is the element associated with charisma, with attracting members of the opposite sex. Second, your day sign, Ox, is the sign of the lady most likely to choose the wrong guy.

The good news is the indicators of family happiness in your chart total six, which is above average, 4.8. Thus you have a good chance of achieving happiness in this area.

As for the two negatives, there are things you can do to help yourself. For one thing you should always get an outside opinion from someone you trust and who is wise before making a commitment. As for the lack of Fire, you can compensate somewhat by adding Fire to your environment, candles, fireplace, etc., and by changing your appearance. On this last point, i'm not saying you should change who you are, but it wouldn't hurt to put a little more style, even flash, into your appearance. Again, please, i'm not talking about a major makeover, just "kick it up a notch."

Dear Jessica,

Chinese astrology has traditionally been used to answer questions just such as your follow-up question. That, however, is not my focus---for two reasons.

First, i am more interested in possibilities, in helping people make the most of what they have. Second, it takes several hours to do a star chart, which could yield that answer.

The best answer i can give you is you already know the answer. Here we're talking in a metaphysical sense. Through meditation and just listening to your "higher self" you can know your answer.

Philosophically i fall into the Chinese tradition of Taoism. The question then becomes not so much when but am i an the flow. Taoism counsels acceptance. It suggests things are "perfect" as they are. Rather than try to make a relationship happen, just allow it to happen. By the way, Chinese astrology is very much linked to Taoist philosophy.

In this short space i can't give you a full relationship analysis (about 8 pages long), but you're welcome to order one at firepig.com. I seldom suggest allexperts questioners to buy a reading, but you sound concerned about this area.

As for timing, i will make one comment. You only have one (very) weak period in your life, birth. You were in jeopardy at that time; however, you obviously survived as u are here. The current and next periods in your life are normal to high chi (energy/life force) for you. This means you are fully capable of taking advantage of opportunities that arise. So, it's not necessary to feel you have to wait or that it will be a long time before you establish a wonderful relationship.

There is one more thing i can say. It is more "new age" metaphysics than Chinese astrology/philosophy. I believe we create our reality. What do u see when u look into your mind's eye? If, like an inventor imagining their invention, you are creating your "perfect" relationship in your mind, it's in the process of happening. If you see something different when u look deep inside, it's probably off in the more distant future.
