Hi Laura,
John was born during the year of the Water Ox, month of the Wood Rat and day of the Wood Rooster.
His strengths are Wood (creativity, good heart) and Water (communications, flexibility), and his weakness is Fire (plain, not dynamic/cheerleader type).
You've managed to ask many questions in one. I will tell you several things about his chart. Then you can ask one follow up question if there is an area in which you are particularly interested.
He has two signs from the Ox-Snake-Rooster compatibility group and would be most compatible with some one born in the year of the Snake, four years younger than he is.
He can be very sweet, but in the end he is likely to be more interested in himself than in other people. For one thing he is not likely to readily give a lot of stroking/care for the emotional needs of his partner.
