Answer
Hi Dita,

You were born during the year of the Metal Monkey, month of the Earth Rabbit, day of the Fire Horse and hour of the Earth Rat.

First let me say you have excellent balance among the elements in your chart. That means you have lots of good qualities.

There are problems, however, with your four signs. Monkey and Rat are perfect for each other. Unfortunately Horse and Rabbit, your month and day signs, are neither compatible with each other or with your Rat and Monkey signs. This means you have a lot of conflicts going on within you. A major one is that Monkey and Rat are very cerebral, always thinking. They like to use logic in making their decisions. The Horse and Rabbit are very emotional signs, and like to be spontaneous and to follow their heart. In fact Horse (your day sign) is the worst possible match for Rat, your hour sign.

This means you are likely to have internal conflicts. Decision making can be very troublesome. The Rat likes to take a roundabout approach, while the Horse is direct. The Monkey is a thinker, whereas the Rabbit very much responds to emotions. This can make you very unpredictable. It can also cause that lack of self confidence you noted in your question.

What can you do about it? As far as changes to make, you can't do much at all. You are you. The most important thing is to recognize that you have these inner conflicts. And, that it is ok. You are just being you. Don't let it get you down.

Second, you should know that the Horse lady, especially the Fire Horse, often has trouble with relationships. If you would like, you can order a full, relationship reading at www.firepig.com, and i can go into all the details. It is a lengthy report. The most important thing you can do is to match up with someone who is compatible with you. That is challenging given your sign mix. Looking at all your signs, i'd say someone born in the year of the Dragon is the best match for you, i..e, someone four years older or eight years younger.

If you would like to learn more about your signs, i highly recommend Theodora Lau's The Handbook of Chinese Horoscopes. Also, please visit my site, www.firepig.com.

Thank u for your question.

Expertise

Chinese Astrology. I`ve done Chinese astrology for over 20 years, pimary experience Ming Shu style. I am NOT a psychic. I can't answer questions about when a particular event will occur, when/if your life will change, or what your spouse is going to be/look like. I do comment on relationships, career, personality analysis and life cycle chi, i.e., energy level and influences at each of the five stages of life. I evaluate specific relationships or can look at your love life in general. I can tell you your best career choices and whether the one you've chosen is good for you. And, I can identify the strong and weak times in your life. I've done work for Yahoo, astrology.com and onlinechineseastrology.com.

Experience

I've studied Chinese astrology for over 20 years now and done several thousand charts. My specialty is four pillars method, particularly as applied to evaluating relationships. I've also done Nine Star Ki and readings using Mah Jong tiles. My next step is to learn Purple Star astrology. It identifies many more chart details, but accurate readings are time consuming and dependent upon a lifetime of acquired experience.
