I am beginning my study of astrology and I am set to have a consult, so my question is not a personal one regarding a forecast, but it is in relation to a transit.

A transit is about to take place in my life.  I have Pluto 0 degrees in on the ascendant. (virgo in the first house).  My ascendant is Leo at 29 degrees, sun sign cancer (11 degrees in the 11th house). (yes, just like our president LOL)

I am about to have a transit where Saturn will be conjunct my ascendant (and conjunct Pluto).  I understand from some friends this is a major transit and something to take note of.  Can you fill me in on the meaning of this transit please?

Good for you about your astrology studies!

Know that Saturn has been transiting your Natal 1st house (by sign) for some time now. Yes, not quite by degree yet, but I consider both.

Anything significant in your life relating to personal achievement going on? Have you been enduring a period of limitation and, or hard work? If not, then perhaps in roughly 7 years you'll have major new starts (when it joins your nadir).

Really, I could toss some basic Saturn-transiting-the-first information at you like above, but without your birth data (sorry, I don't do personal readings here) I can't get into the specifics I'd find via the comprehensive charts. I hope you understand.

Also, I wouldn't put too much emphasis on transits, although Saturn transits are good to watch as you perhaps already realize!

And how is your Natal Saturn? If relatively healthy, but not a very important planet in your charts (what is your chart ruler, by the way? Hint--it's not necessarily the Asc ruler), then perhaps you should expect nothing from the Saturn transit.

How was the period not too long ago for you when Saturn transited (conjunct) your Sun in Cancer? Any major rewards or the opposite?
