Astronomy/meteor storms

Question
Hi there,
I'm from Ontario (Canada) and remember seeing a very vivid and prolific meteor storm during my childhood, 10-15 years ago.
Is there any way to know of upcoming meteor storms? I have found several schedules of the meteor showers we can expect from year to year, but is there any way to foretell something a lot more dramatic?
Thanks!
Chris

Answer
Well, in MY opinion, only two meteor showers are worth getting up early in the morning to see;  The Perseids in August and the Leonids in November.

keep in mind, that in some years any meteor shower can be better than in past years, and the phase of the Moon will also effect the viewing.
