Question
look im an open person
i really don't know who to believe on this global warming issue.
Al gore, a liberal politician...
or some neo-con right wing nut...

Ill believe it one way or the other if someone can show me some real hard facts about why humans are causing global warming.

Because my understanding is that most scientists actually say that global warming isn't caused by humans...So basically there's nothing we can do to stop it. These scientists include NAS, NOAA, NSF, NASA, EPA, MIT, and UCLA they all agree humans are not the main cause of global warming.

They do agree that anthropogenic global warming is a bad thing though.

I mean for example AL gore says Florida will go underwater...will of course it will, will it not? Florida has been underwater many times in the past.

so really if you would clue me into the threat from global warming that we as humans can actually stop then please do tell me.
otherwise, ill just regard people who think the world will be underwater by 2050 as just a bunch of nut jobs.

Answer
I suggest if you are seriously interested in global warming to consult any or all of the prior answers I have given on this:

You may also want to consult:

Which I also believe is referenced in one or more of the previous links, but which I post separately in case you don't see it.

If you have further questions after reading the material on these links, preferably *specific* questions on *specific* aspects (not mere vague generalities like "I don't know what to think") - then I will be most happy to assist.
