Question
Hi , how worried if at all should we be about whats going on at CERN

Answer
Hello,

I believe I answered a question like this previously (well, anyway, it was a question bundled amongst others!).  As I pointed out to that questioner, there is nothing at all to worry about regarding the large hadron collider. It will make some neat collisions with portons at high energy, maybe finally discovere the Higgs particle, shed some light on the Big Bang and that's about it.

I get more gray hairs worrying about the coming impacts of man-made global warming than something like the LHC's antics at CERN!
