Question
Is it true that planet X is gradualy making its way to earth. The reason why I am asking is because, this was on fox news not too long agao. And also there is a but load of proof, with hundreds of websites, not to mention the history channel. I need some expert knowladge on this matter. There are a lot of scepticts out there doubt everything when they do not have a clue what they even know. They just like to piss people off. So can you please help me? It would be mutch apreciated.

Answer
Collin,

I think it's great that you are trying to be scientific about this, and that you are seriously making an effort to understand it.

Be careful!!  I enjoy hearing theories that could expand our understanding of the universe.  BUT, this is the kind of things that cultists like the Raelians use, to draw people into their cults.  Don't get sucked in, dude!

If I were you, I would start out by taking some time to look at this link:
http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/comet_conspiracy_030228.html

That article mentions REAL astronomers, with a better background than I have, who disagree with this theory.  If you really want to understand this, maybe you could e-mail them?  Or, feel free to get back to me, and I will try to discuss this more.

Basically, it sounds like there is NO danger AT ALL from any Planet X.  But please spend some time looking at the article I sent, and get back to me if you want to talk more.

Keep Looking Up!

Expertise

I am not a professional astronomer by any means, but astronomy has been an interest of mine since childhood, and I am well-informed on the subject. If unable to answer someone`s question personally, I will know how to quickly find the answer online, because I keep myself informed about developments in the field and I know where to look for information.

Experience

I worked in an observatory for awhile at one point, doing various interesting things with a computer.
