Question
I live just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the U.S.
Last night (November 1st, 2009)around 7pm I took some photos of the moon.  There seemd to be a planet just below and to the left of it.  Not visible to my eyes but showed up on the LCD screen and of course the pictures.  What is it? Please explain?

Answer
If you are able to e-mail me a copy of the pictures (harryhayfield@googlemail.com) that would allow me to confirm the theory that you picked up the Pleiades (Seven Sisters) which is a group of stars that seen from a distance could be seen as a planet. The other option is Alabaran (another star)
