Question
Can the constellation Centaurus (more specifically "The Southern Cross") be seen from Southern California?

Answer
Hi,
Sorry for the late answer, I have restricted access to the net these days, due to a medical condition.
Spencer, though it is a southern constellation, Crux, or the southern cross, can be seen from places below 25 deg north during the period towards April end, 10 pm night.
If your place in southern california satidfies this condition, you would be seeing it.
Regards
Jayen
