Astronomy/The angle of the sun in London

Question
What is the highest angle the sun would reach in London UK through a complete year? And what is the lowest angle?

Answer
Olivia,
At the summer solstice in June, the sun reaches an angle of 61.9 degrees at solar noon, in London.  That's as high as it ever gets.  At the winter solstice in December, it reaches its lowest angle, of 15.1 degrees.

Go to this website, and look (toward the right) for the "solar noon" column of figures.  You can change the month setting to see June.

Expertise

I am not a professional astronomer by any means, but astronomy has been an interest of mine since childhood, and I am well-informed on the subject. If unable to answer someone`s question personally, I will know how to quickly find the answer online, because I keep myself informed about developments in the field and I know where to look for information.

Experience

I worked in an observatory for awhile at one point, doing various interesting things with a computer.
