Question
Average distance of greenhouse gss to earth's surface, core and size of sphere generated?
Average distance of ozone layer to earth's surface, core and size of sphere generated?

Answer
John!
Why this question?
And what does one achieve by all this?
Just curious.
Because the green house gases start right at the earth's surface!
1 - Water vapor.
This is why the port cities are "warmer" even in the severest    winters.
2 - CO2 is a heavier than air gas, and so is "at the earth's surface too!
(Witness how it rolled sown the slopes of one of africa's volcanos and smothered a whole village in their sleep, a few decades ago).

3 - Methane! It is also close to the earth.

So the quantities you require..
a - distance from earth's surface would be zero!
b - from core would be earth's radius.
c - size would be a thin annular shell, round the earth!
(Because both these gases reside close to earth's surface).
