Astronomy/Two Total Solar Eclipses

Question
Is it possible for there to be two total solar eclipses within 12 months (one year)  of each other?  If so, when and where?

Answer
Megan.

The Maximum number of Eclipses you can have in a year is seven.  Three Solar and four Lunar.

So you can have more than one eclipse per year.  It all depends on the year.

More on this can be found at my friends web site at:

http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse.html

There you can find Eclipses for several thousands of years in the past and future!
