Question
Will we die in 2012? Please provide the most concrete evidence possible to back up your statements. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Anon...
I assume you're speaking of the "end" of the Mayan calendar so-called event of 12/21/2012?
Did you die with the planetary alignment of the 1960's? The Jupiter Effect of the 1970's?
The Halley Comet passage of March 1986?  The Hale-Bopp effect of 1999?  The Y2K event of 2000?
This is in the same catagory as all those other so-called "Doomsday" occult statements.
Heck, the Mayans couldn't even predict the date of their OWN demise... why would anyone seriously think that they could predict ours?  Besides, we're on the Gregorian calendar, not the Mayan calendar; just because theirs "ends" doesn't mean ours ends.
I'm sure on December 22, 2012 there will be all sorts of excuses as to why it didn't happen... I can already hear them. Well, the sun didn't cooperate, the Icelandic Volcano or Gulf Oil slick of 2010 screwed up the predictions; our calendar is 4 years off, so the new date is 12/21/2016... and on and on and on. There is no galaxy alignment, there is no planetary alignment, there is no alignment of any kind.  And EVEN if there was, it doesn't affect us anyway. Remember in the gravitational force equation, there is d-squared in the denominator... distance SQUARED. This makes any force over a large distance barely measureable, let alone catastrophic.
Next will be the Asteroid Apophis doomsday of 4/1/2029... just watch.  They always have to have one coming up in the future, Right?
Get the point?

PS...there is an interesting event on December 21, but it's this year, not 2012.  The USA gets
a total lunar eclipse on that date.
