Question
Hi Ed, I have a general question, I recently came across a Jason rotary power telescope, and I was wondering if you could help me find the model number as I'm not sure what type of telescope I have. I have a manual of sorts but it lists several model numbers in it and what type  scope they are. however I have yet to find the model number on this particular one. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you
Sincerely,
Rich

Answer
Rich,
There are at least 2 people on AllExperts with MUCH more telescope experience than me.  I live in a city, it is impractical for me to get out and observe very regularly.  Anyway, if I were you, I would ask either Paul Wagner or Tom Whiting.

Expertise

I am not a professional astronomer by any means, but astronomy has been an interest of mine since childhood, and I am well-informed on the subject. If unable to answer someone`s question personally, I will know how to quickly find the answer online, because I keep myself informed about developments in the field and I know where to look for information.

Experience

I worked in an observatory for awhile at one point, doing various interesting things with a computer.
