1. When the the Moon and the Umbra-disk Contacts-Touches.
2. When the the Moon and the Umbra-disk departs.

This map http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/OH/OHfigures/OH2011-Fig03.pdf shows the area of the Earth that will be able to see the eclipse. Dark means no eclipse can be seen, white means an eclipse can be seen, various shades of grey show where the eclipse happens at moonrise and moonset
