Question
Hello. I was just wondering how the stars form.

Answer
Hi Johann

After the Big Bang, there was lots of material in the universe, and it began to coalesce into clumps.  When those clumps became larger than planets, their gravity compressed the material until it got so hot that it began to create nuclear fusion--and a star was created.

This happened all over the universe and is still happening noww.
